BIG Sale on healthy living e-books! don't miss 'em! Ends Tuesday
Since I'm short on time these days, I have started reading ebooks on health, wellness, parenting, etc., rather than browse the web to find information... a book has a start and an end, and well we know the internet has no end...
I just have to share this amazing collection of ebooks available from Village Green Network, who produced the Healthy Living Summit last month (with speakers like Joel Salatin, Sally Fallon Morrell, Matt Stone, Chris Kresser).
Back to the ebooks -- it's 30 books on wide variety of health topics for $39! I've been eyeing the eczema book for awhile; it's $30 on its own... I'm so excited to have it in my library now PLUS these other great titles.

Includes: grain-free cookbooks, slow-cooker recipes, cooking with kids, Nourished Baby (by the Mommypotamus), Nourishing our Children ebook (by the Nourishing our Children director Sandrine Love), a book on fats by Sarah Pope (the health home economist), Eat for Heat, DIY house cleaners, healing your skin from the inside out, gardening, homesteading... (see the link for descriptions of each book!)
Don't miss out! The collection of ebooks is available only through April 23 (next Tuesday)!
Wow it's been a year since I last posted. How's everyone doing? My family is coming out of the blur called 1st year of a new baby. We love our little family of 4 and are enjoying the adventure!
Surviving Sugar Season - October 2011 Newsletter from FITR Wellness
Interesting write up on the best and worst sweeteners... best are stevia, raw honey, molasses, and sugar alcohols (e.g., xylitol); worst are aspartame, agave, and sucralose (splenda). This is right on the money in my opinion!

I'm fortunate to have the Louisville (CO) Farmers Market practically in my backyard. The fridge was empty of breakfast foods so I jumped in the car and was back in 20 minutes with two dozen organic, pasture-fed eggs from Kiowa Valley Organics. The yolks were the brightest orange I've ever seen, and boy they were so flavorful! I cooked 'em over-easy in organic coconut oil and ghee, sprinkled with sea salt, freshly ground pepper, and kelp for extra minerals. Delish! Can't wait for more tomorrow.
