I’m tired. And frustrated.

Save my recipe for Chicken Tikka Masala! I actually prefer this over Butter Chicken because it’s slightly healthier even though the ingredients are very similar. Ingredients for the chicken are 4 chicken thighs, 1/2 cup green yogurt, 1/2 tbsp ginger paste, 1/2 tbsp garlic paste. 1 tsp garam Masala, 1/2 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp chili powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric and 1 tsp salt. Marinade overnight is the best, but you can get away with one hour if you’re impatient. Sear the chicken in a little oil and butter. Remove from pan and add 1/3 cup diced onions, 1/2 tbsp garlic paste, 1/2 tbsp ginger paste. Cook for a few minutes and had 1 1/2 cups canned tomatoes and 1/2 cup soaked cashews. Simmer for a few minutes and then blend until smooth. Pour back into pan and add 1/2 tsp garam Masala, 1/2 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp chili powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tbsp sugar and 1 tbsp fenugreek. Add chicken back in and simmer for five minutes for the gravy to finish cooking. Drizzle cream and sprinkle cilantro for garnish. Serve your Chicken Tikka Masala with a side of Garlic Naan and Basmati Rice. #chickentikka #chickentikkamasala #butterchicken
