My clients sometimes ask me, does anyone else use regular polish instead of gel on their toes nails?
Yes, yes and yes again. I even refuse to cover some clients with gel. Why? Because they already have a deformations and dystrophy of the nails. If your nails do not look completely healthy, gel polish is contraindicated. Gel polish can make the problem worse. Still, this is a hard material, the nails can curl even more, which leads to pain, subungual calluses, ingrowths, onycholysis, and the addition of various infections.
