2016 me was busy.

Photoshoots. A home studio. Lots of brides. A butterfly tattoo. Working with NARS. Weekly hangs with my nephews (truly miss that chapter 🥹).

It’s wild to look back and realize how much has changed… and how much hasn’t.
Still rocking bangs. Still doing makeup. Still creating.

Some chapters closed. Some people moved away. One marriage ended.

But the thread is the same- doing work I love, finding beauty in transition, and becoming more me with every version.

Time is weird like that ✨

𝘐𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘳𝘭𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯, 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘐 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧.

has stuck by me as a client through some of the hardest chapters… my divorce, and now this new wave of truth that turned my world upside down. She’s one of those rare souls who reminds you that staying soft after pain isn’t weakness… it’s strength.

𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘺, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘺 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 + 𝘰𝘶𝘵, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐’𝘮 𝘴𝘰 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶.

And can we talk about the hair?! Melinda sprinkled her magic as always! I wish I had snagged a photo after she finished because it was absolutely stunning.

“Farewell June”

Throwing it way back — can’t even remember how many years ago this was, but I do remember how fun it was creating with back in the day!

Last day of June feels like the perfect time to dust off this spread and bring it up out of the archives.

The request: warm tones with a bit of smokiness, extra elongated crisp wing liner, peachy lips & cheeks, contoured & bronzed, and finished with some fun lashes

And in case you were wondering- yes I am still definitely retired from weddings! I don’t personally book any brides, I only work weddings as an additional artist to help out my makeup friends when they have large bridal parties or short getting ready timeframes.
