Even though the ingredients are stuck right on top, most people haven’t read them or may not know how ingredients like TBHQ could affect their health.

TBHQ is one of the top ingredients that I avoid. Here’s why…

⚠️ TBHQ is a synthetic preservative rarely used outside of the U.S.

⚠️ TBHQ is derived from petroleum and also used in paint & varnish.

⚠️ TBHQ may harm the immune system and has been shown to increase the severity of flu symptoms.

⚠️ TBHQ can negatively affect “T-cells” in the body in a way that promotes allergies to tree nuts, milk, eggs, wheat and shellfish.

⚠️ TBHQ is linked to an increased incidence of tumors in animal studies.

Costco’s pecan pie is even WORSE with TBHQ, Carrageenan (linked to cancer), artificial flavors, and a slew of preservatives.

Many people believe Costco uses high quality ingredients, so that’s what makes this so alarming.

Costco could do better, and they should. Don’t you agree?
