The center of Katsuya Ko is the food. We created a brand with bright hues and friendly shapes to accentuate the bold tones of fresh sushi and golden crispiness of fried dumplings. Both the palette and palate of Katsuya Ko are designed for maximum yum.

For SBE’s newest concept, Katsuya Ko, we envisioned a surreal focal point where identity, space, and story become one. Inspired by the meaning “child of Katsuya” the mural centers on a striking muse set against a dreamlike landscape of blush hues and whimsical green flora. Cinematic and fully immersive.

A fragrance bottle this considered deserved an opening moment to match.

Countless sketches, paper samples, and test prints later...the Ward Paris box was born 🙆‍♀️

We pulled photos and fabrics from our interiors library as tactile inspo for our box design. The final result is a rigid telescope box wrapped in (custom stamped) leatherette green paper. An unexpected pink interior keeps the moody green youthful and lifted. The whole thing is delivered in a snug shipper box with a special note from the founders.

When your client asks you to design a custom Vespa… 🤤

Brand activations brought Ward Paris to life for their first Beverly Hills pop up. It’s always fun to see how a brand expresses itself across different mediums.

What appears minimal is deeply considered.

A heavy-bottomed glass vessel silhouette gives the bottle structural weight and balance so it feels grounded in the hand.

Fire-polished glass to remove mold seams, creating crisp edges and a refined tactile finish.

A weighted cap, finished in deep lacquered green, contains a hidden reverse-polarity magnet that ensures the logo always snaps perfectly into alignment.

At the base, white frosted etching replaces a traditional label for a more elevated signature.

How do you build a luxury brand from the ground up and make it feel like it has always existed?

For Ward Paris, we designed a modern heirloom. A bottle that lives on the vanity. A cap that snaps perfectly into place. A box that opens like a gift.
