The Milky Way galaxy over Santorini, Greece. The milky way galaxy is the galaxy where our solar system is located. It has a diameter of about 100.000 light years and it is the second largest galaxy on our local group after Andromeda Galaxy. Our galaxy will collide with the Andromeda galaxy and they will form a bigger galaxy called Milkomeda in about 4.5 billion years.

Last week I was invited to take part in something amazing! I was invited to visit the first 𝙑𝙞𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙎𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙁𝙡𝙤𝙖𝙩 experience in Hong Kong. For one hour I was looking at Earth orbiting footage from the International Space Station while floating in a zero gravity environment in a tank of salty water, which is exactly what astronauts experience while floating in space!! They are also about to launch their own satellite with Space X as their partner to capture the best video footage. Highly recommended!
