How do we navigate in times of uncertainty?
Without knowing how or why I consider touch one of the magic languages!
As I begin to reconnect and study my love for massage and the latest research on the power of touch, vagus nerve, and facia networks it brings me a sense of awe. We are part of a biodynamic naturally interconnected divine intelligence. How do we find balance in a world gone a bit mad? I always tell my friends that the more we intellectualize trauma the more we bypass it. Isolation leads to more mind, more doubt: and more disconnected from each other. We must equip ourselves with all the tools and healing balms and reconnect to our natural divinity.
Touch and manual therapy bring us more into our sense of well-being whereby we surrender the weight of the world and sometimes we experience "bliss." This sense of bliss connects us to the mystery, our sense of knowing, and belonging. This sense of belonging is what I call our inner compass! In the words of a great musician friend of mine- JOY must not be presumed it must be claimed! We must employ and recreate our world making self-care our guiding compass and enlist others to the great JOY we are born to be.
