Bangs and long layers for miss Gabby’s 2-3X a year cut. I hear from a lot of my clients they wish they could come see me sooner but their hair cuts grow out so well that it’s not necessary 🥰 this is definitely a goal of mine with every cut. I have a few more January openings, check my link in bio!

So very pleased to announce that I will be working the book launch event this December 11th!
I will be doing Gua Sha scalp massages and reiki intention braiding at the one on one stations, and assisting in the group reiki healing circle before hand. Honestly this is kind of a stacked event and I can’t believe how much is going into it.
When I first got certified in reiki by Hae it was at the height of the pandemic and I primarily did only distant reiki from my home. Being able to be in a room full of people doing group reiki is a dream of mine, so thank you for putting this all together Hae 🥰

Collective archetypal energy forecast for Peace Day November 17th

The energy forecast for this week speaks of climbing mountains and the isolation that comes with this personal heroes journey. However, once we have scaled the mountain top, a separateness is created. Perhaps we were seeking some peak experience. At some point we must descend the mountain.

I feel a collective come down from the spring and summer’s energetic activity and there’s a strong pull to retreat. However, remember that connection and community will ground and revitalize you.

I keep thinking about the 5 years Leonard Cohen spent as a monk at the monastery on Mt. Baldy. While he grew spiritually at the time, eventually he found that his work was not to to ascend but rather to share what songs and poetry he had.
The advice for this energy is to connect with spirit and identify what work your earthly body is here to do, and share it with the world.

I love how a special occasion moment can inspire a client to try something new! Clare works HR for Burning Man (am I allowed to say that??) and wanted to do some colorful desert friendly festival hair…maybe we’ll keep it going and play with color some more!
