This past weekend, I found myself reflecting deeply on our Savior—on the pain He endured for our freedom, and the unimaginable love He continues to show us. Jesus loved without limits. He treated everyone with the same grace, compassion, and mercy—even when that love was not returned.

Inspired by His example, my family and I had the privilege of volunteering at our church. We chose to serve in a way that’s close to our hearts: art and face painting. It’s something my son and I love to do together.

As we painted the faces of children, we saw joy spark in their eyes and smiles stretch across their cheeks. In that moment, we weren’t just painting—we were pouring out love, sharing joy, and reflecting a small glimpse of Jesus’ heart.

Serving others doesn’t always look like preaching or teaching. Sometimes, it looks like laughter, color, and connection. And when it’s done in His name, even the smallest act becomes something sacred.

This weekend reminded me: when we give our gifts back to God, He uses them in ways far greater than we can imagine.
