Proud to see this fitting tribute for a true creative pioneer and hit maker from our city. Though this is long overdue, the inspiration so many of us feel seeing this go up is right on time.

Static Major, thank you for using your gifts to remind the world that greatness exists right here in Louisville. Though you’ve found your rest, your legacy clearly lives on.

I am so grateful to be in this space!! I am blessed to have amazing coworkers turned into friends and then into family. Thank you to everyone who has supported me thus far.

When I applied at Z Salon, I had absolutely no preconceived notions about the salon. I was in the process of moving back to Louisville after being gone for a few years and just needed a job. I had never even heard about it but I saw a job posting and applied. As I neared the salon and saw how nice it was, I immediately thought I made a huge mistake and that it was way too fancy for me.

To my surprise, I was greeted with a warm welcome. Although the salons grand and luxurious, it also felt inviting and comforting. I was still unsure if I fit in but I figured the worse they could say was no.

But guess what… they said yes!! And I never turned back. Everyone was genuinely kind and I could tell this is where I should be. From working in guest care and learning the culture to being a colorist, I will always be grateful for everything I’ve learned and the family I’ve gained. I can’t wait to see what else is in store!!

So cheers to 30 years!!
