Community Alert: Lubbock Woman Found Walking Alone Needs Help Identifying Her Family
The community is being asked to come together after a woman was found walking alone and unable to remember where she lives. According to the person who stopped to help her, she identified herself as Dora Overbrocklin and mentioned having a sister named Isabell Barraza. She also shared that she may be from Canyon Texas and that her family is from the same area.
The woman appeared confused but calm and described herself as going out for a walk before losing track of where she was. The Good Samaritan who found her quickly contacted police for assistance out of concern that she may be experiencing memory issues from what could be Alzheimer’s disease. She described the woman as sweet, gentle, and easy to talk to, but clearly unsure of her surroundings.
Authorities have been notified, but the community is being asked to help share her photo and information so her family can be located as quickly as possible. Anyone who recognizes her or has information about her relatives is encouraged to contact local law enforcement immediately.
This post is being shared to help bring her home safely.
