Let's make soap

Once upon a time I was a soap maker.

I have been making patchouli soap. The first one is colored with cocoa powder. The second soap is colored with black walnut hull and calendula powder. My house smells like an old hippie shop. 😀

Gardener's soap! Made with coconut milk, cocoa butter, coconut oil, calendula petals, pumice and much more. Scented with orange essential oil. Ready to cut!

Sexy men fragrance, this scent reminds me of Old Spice.

I just finished a small batch of soap, and realized why I call this page Lets make soap. Right before I crank up my stick blender to combine my lye to oils I say, let's make soap, just like I have an audience. :)

I think maybe my Patchouli soap has a new look.

Maybe this is too far out of the box, but I had much fun with it anyway!
I promised this began as a column pour, then I turned it into a column swirl. I loved being able to see the swirls as I manipulated them in a random fashion. I did not plan to do this swirl, it just happened that way.
The scent is sea spice, and it is a basic 3 oil recipe.

Soapy fact:
Handcrafted soap, made from scratch, ALWAYS contains glycerin because glycerin is a byproduct of the soap making process. That is why it is unnecessary for it to be on the label. It contains glycerin in it's purest form.
