Do you know how many instant benefits DRY BRUSHING has? If you don’t have a dry brush I would recommend getting one! I honestly use mine the most when I need a little energy boost. It’s instant stimulation that helps get my nerves activated and ready to face the day.

🦋 Butterfly Stretch 🦋
As a massage therapist, I love sharing simple ways to keep your body feeling amazing between sessions. One of my favorite stretches is the Butterfly Stretch – it gently opens your hips and inner thighs, helps improve flexibility, and supports better posture and circulation.
Here’s how to do it in 5 simple steps:
1. Sit on the floor with your spine tall and shoulders relaxed.
2. Bring the soles of your feet together and let your knees fall out to the sides like butterfly wings.
3. Hold your feet with your hands, keeping them close to your body.
4. Gently press your knees toward the floor—don’t force it!
5. Breathe deeply and hold for 30 seconds to 1 minute, then slowly release.
✨ This stretch is great after sitting for long periods or post-workout. ✨
Your body will thank you. 💆♀️💜

So many times we are busy taking care of others, we are busy with work, we are busy with family life, we don’t have enough money, we say the pain is not that bad. But, what ever the reason may be; it’s not enough of a reason to ignore our body’s need for muscle work, stretch, movement, relaxation, water and self care. Take steps to take care of you now. Don’t wait until you are falling apart to put the pieces back together.

The stretch of the day is a yoga pose called Child’s Pose. This pose will stretch and relieve tension on your lower back, hips and spine.
How to Do It:
1. Kneel on the floor.
2. Sit your hips back onto your heels.
3. Reach your arms forward on the ground, lowering your forehead to the floor.
4. Breathe deeply and relax your shoulders and back.
Tips:
• If your hips don’t reach your heels, place a pillow or folded blanket under your hips or chest.
• Stay in the pose for 30 seconds to a few minutes.

Some clients need accommodations because they are unable to lay down. This face cradle stand is a great adaptation that can be used not only in a massage clinic setting but also at home. A lot of my clients tell me that their spouse or friend or family member give them a quick massage in between their time with me; however their loved one cannot give adequate pressure or time. This device allows for the person receiving the massage to be in a comfortable position and the person giving the massage to stand and be more comfortable with more leverage as well. There are many variations of this product, but if you are interested in this specific one, the link is below.
