Hi everyone! Happy Monday!
Life has a way of molding itself into what is supposed to happen whether we’re ready or not. I believe it all happens for a reason. Even if we don’t know the reasons yet, we eventually figure them out.
My beautiful website for HungryHeartbreak was hacked and infected with a virus. I have chosen to lay it to rest and not revive it. Not just the site but my business too.
This chapter of my life was one I wrote at one of the most difficult times in my life. I wouldn’t be where I am today without HungryHeartbreak. It changed my life, made me a stronger person and I learned so much. It saved me when I was broken. It empowered me. It brought me joy and happiness. It warmed my heart and will always be part of my journey.
I am still a health and wellness coach and live a holistic lifestyle. I still believe you heal with feeding your mind, body and soul.
I still repeat the mantra put one foot in front of the other on those tough days.
It is time for me to close this door and open the next one. I am loving the new chapter that I am writing in my life. It is also exciting.
I will continue to share the good and healthy news with you!
Forever and Always CHEERS TO A FRESH START WITH FRESH INGREDIENTS!!! 😘

1 year ago today I was standing in our kitchen making cupcakes for our Halloween party and I got a phone call. It was Grace’s gastroenterologist confirming all of her recent blood work was postive for Celiac’s Disease.
I didn’t know if I should throw the cupcakes in the trash or whether I should cancel the party or just cry.
Fast forward to a year later and a lot has changed. I’m not making cupcakes but we are having our party. (I can’t believe a year has flown by!!)
Our family and Grace has adjusted beautifully to a gluten free lifestyle and she is thriving today on her journey. She is stronger and braver than I ever could have imagined her to be.
After Graces diagnosis and having two family loved ones pass away shortly after, we were all struggling mentally, physically and emotionally for a long time. On some levels I still am. Raising four girls is taxing on the body. There is a level of stress and worry these days unlike before when when they were toddlers. They are growing and becoming more independent. I struggle daily with motherhood and the constant juggle.
I decided early this year that I was going to pursue my passion for photography. One I’ve had forever. If you know me, you know I always love taking photos.
It was also more and more obvious to me that my focus needed to be on my own health, Graces health and all of our girls require more attention and guidance these days. I couldn’t coach clients when I didn’t feel like I had our own health in check.
Health & Wellness, is still a great passion of mine and always will be.
Following my love of photography has brought me so much new joy and happiness. It is a way that I can bring joy to other families and it makes me happy.
I remember when I started HungryHeartbreak and why. It was to heal from the hardest time and worst heartbreak I ever knew. Looking back 7 years later I believe it made me who I am today. All of our little stepping stones in life are what make our life’s story.
I am thankful and beyond grateful for this chapter in my life.
I’m not completely closing the door right now but my attention has been in other places.
I wanted to share this with you today as I feel like 1 year ago today was the beginning of a remodeling phase in my life. Does that make sense? That’s what it has felt like? But, the difference is the work is never done. I think I finally realize that. Things constantly change and I am working on embracing them.
Sending you all love and well wishes! May you have more treats than tricks today! Cheers!!

We are getting ready for another road trip & vacation. Packing for six is a huge undertaking so I do a little at a time. There are a couple things I don’t leave home without. My travel size vitamins go with me everywhere. Instead of lugging the bottles around these little daily essential packets are perfect for any getaway.

Happy July 1st! I don’t know about where you are but in PA it is HOT!! 💥We are staying cool inside but still firing up the grill outside. This weekends dinners were amazing! Mark did most of the cooking. I love summer meals! 💚

I am loving all the fresh produce these days! I took these pictures at a market in Mexico last week. I tasted a lot of new fruits like guava, passion fruit & papaya. I ate cactus too which was super yummy & fun! Are you loving the fresh seasonal produce these days as much as I am?

💍 TLS Bridal Tip! 💍
Many of our portions are oversized which makes it hard to judge what a real portion actually looks like! This can lead to unplanned calories + weight gain - all things we want to avoid. Below, we’ve got a list of what your portions should look like:
🍖Protein: 3 oz
🌾Grains + Cereals: 1 cup
🌰Nuts: 1 oz or 2 Tbsp.
🧀Cheese: 1.5 oz
🥦Veggies: Load Up!

I didn’t get a chance to wish everyone a Very Happy Mother’s Day yesterday! I spent the day with my girls and visited my mom and grandmother in Maryland which was a special treat. 💗 We came home in the evening to a beautiful salmon (and chicken) dinner cooked by Mark. It was a wonderful day and I certainly felt the love. I hope you did too!
When I started HungryHeartbreak I was a new and young mom. Grace was only almost two and Abby was just three months old. MY....so much has changed and happened. I even gained two more beautiful girls in my life that I am extremely thankful for. But, a few things still remain the same. Taking care of ourselves is the the best gift we can give to ourselves and to our children. Don’t get so lost in day to day motherhood you forget who you are. (I am guilty of this over the years) And.. what is that saying... if mama ain’t happy no one is happy. It is so true! Take time for you, not just one day a year (hopefully you got some YOU time yesterday) but give yourself the gift of nourishing your mind, body & soul daily. The little things add up.
What are a few things that make you happy that you keep putting off?
I wanted to remind you that yes yesterday was Mother’s Day and I hope you had a beautiful day but it doesn’t need to stop. Fill your cup today & tomorrow too!
Cheers to all the mamas out there! 😘❤️
