Dave's dual background as a scientist and business leader helps him bridge gaps between STEM pros, admins, and clients. He is actively involved in the operations of the company beyond just an administrative role. As you can see from previous posts, Dave is hands on with the day to day functions at Branded Legacy and is a great leader for the rest of the skilled team!

Here at Branded Legacy all of our products start at the same place, which is good old fashion plant material. Upon delivery the biomass is inspected and tested for things like alkaloid content, mold, pesticide, heavy metals etc. The next step is milling to appropriate particle size, then we load any one of our extractors (the extractor that we choose is based upon what final product we intend to make). After the extraction process is complete, the crude continues on to post-processing such as winterization, distillation, and re-crystallization. Keep an eye out for more in-depth details on these processes. We have the capacity to make several hundred kilos of crude per day, with values ranging from $100 a kilo to about $800 a kilo... But generally, we continue the refinement process to add value and increase revenue. For prospective, a kilo of CBD crude is worth about $100. A kilo of CBD isolate is worth over $300. A kilo of CBD isolate can be converted to delta 8 or delta 9 at $1000 a kilo or more.
