One of my current projects is to teach this tiny wild man how to be a civilized grown up. He was maybe 3 months old when he showed up with his mom, but so far he’s learned about everything from halters, to leading, tarps, pumpkins, sprinklers and even squeaky toys. He’s very lucky he’s cute, because he is quite a handful.

A small milestone we passed recently is that he will let me pick up both his front feet and hold them! He’s a pretty mover and getting bigger everyday, I know he could be an amazing athlete for the right owner one day - if you know anyone who needs an almost yearling who’s learning to lead but knows all about halters, hit me up!

Hey Everyone! I realized recently that I’ve been so busy this year that I haven’t been posting much, so here’s a bunch of pictures to give you an idea of what I’ve been doing!

I’ve spent most of the year working at an equine rescue south of Houston, we take in horses from all over who have been abused, neglected, surrendered or seized and help them rehab and rebuild their trust in humans so they can find their forever homes. It’s been a lot of hard work, with plenty of ups and downs, but everyday I get a sense that I’ve made a difference in at least one animals life. It can be taxing, but it’s good, meaningful work.

I’m still doing bodywork and energy work, so if your horses are in need of some dedicated care - always get in touch with any questions. I hope to continue sharing my journey with all of you!
