I’m Ashley — the woman behind Oat & Earth.

I’m a wife, a mom, a homemaker, and someone who is building this brand slowly and intentionally from the ground up.

Oat & Earth started from something personal: sensitive, depleted skin, a lot of frustration with overcomplicated products, and the desire to create care that felt more grounded, more thoughtful, and more honest.

I’m still in the building season.

The sourcing season.
The testing season.
The learning-as-I-go season.
The “how do I do all of this while raising a toddler and working from home?” season.

But I care deeply about what this becomes.

Every product is being built around a barrier-first ritual: Prepare, Cleanse, Refine, Seal. Ingredients are chosen with purpose — earth-born minerals, oats, lipids, butters, and botanicals that support the experience of caring for dry, sensitive, depleted skin without making it feel complicated.

Behind the brand, I’m just a mom in Idaho with a big dream, a lot of notes in my phone, a deep love for beautiful details, and a belief that what we put on our skin should feel as intentional as the life we’re trying to build.

Thank you for being here early. I’m truly so grateful you’re following along while I bring Oat & Earth to life. 🤍

Fragrance sensitivity is more common than you think.
But the problem is rarely scent itself.
Most reactions trace back to synthetic fragrance — and a barrier that’s already depleted.
This is why I’m careful about what goes into our formulas. We do use essential oils in a few scents, at very low concentrations — chosen deliberately, with your barrier in mind.
If you’ve ever reacted to something and couldn’t trace it back, you’re not alone.

Not all soaks are built the same.
We use four mineral salts in the Mineral & Oat Soak — because each one does something different.

Dead Sea salt brings trace minerals.

Epsom salt offers magnesium sulfate, long used to ease tension.

Pink Himalayan adds iron-rich softness.

Magnesium chloride is highly absorbable — balancing from the outside in.

Together, they create a soak that feels complete. Not intense. Just settled.

Dry, tight, easily irritated skin usually needs more than a heavier cream.

It needs a routine that understands the barrier.

That’s why Oat & Earth is built around earth-minded ingredients like tallow, oat, minerals, and goat milk — chosen for comfort, simplicity, and skin that feels depleted.

No overcomplicated steps.
No synthetic fragrance.
No “fix your skin” messaging.

Just barrier-first body care, made with intention.

Comment EARTH and I’ll send you the early access link.

Body care tends to be an afterthought.
A lotion grabbed at checkout.
A body wash chosen for how it smells.

Oat & Earth is built differently.

Every formula starts with the skin barrier — and the ingredients it recognizes.

Tallow. Oat. Goat milk. Mineral salts.

Small batch. Made in Idaho.

Not oily. Not dry. Depleted.

There’s a skin type no one names — but a lot of people are living in it.

Tight after cleansing. Reactive without reason. Products that used to work, don’t anymore. A constant low-grade discomfort you’ve normalized.

That’s not your skin type. That’s your barrier asking for something different.

Product spotlight: the Lipid Barrier Crème.

I made this for the moments when skin feels dry, tight, reactive—or like it’s always in recovery mode.

The formula is intentionally lipid-heavy (including 55% grass-fed tallow) because the barrier isn’t supported by “lightweight fluff.” It’s supported by the right lipids, used consistently.

How to use it: warm a small amount between fingers and press it into damp skin—especially after bathing.

If your skin could use a little more comfort, this one is for you.

Magnesium baths are popular for a reason—when they feel good, they feel like a reset.

But if you’ve ever tried one and thought, “why does this sting?”—you’re not alone.

Magnesium chloride is a mineral salt. On a stressed or freshly exfoliated barrier, minerals can feel intense.

That’s why in Mineral & Oat Soak, the mineral base is paired with colloidal oat—so the ritual supports both body and skin comfort.

If your skin has ever felt overwhelmed by traditional mineral baths, this is a gentler place to start.

Most cleansing bars are optimized to clean as efficiently as possible.

This one is optimized to clean without stripping.

The Lipid + Milk Cleansing Bar is cold processed with tallow, goat milk, colloidal oat, and honey. Superfatted at 7% — which means residual free oils stay in the bar so every wash leaves something behind instead of taking it.

Four ingredients worth knowing:
— Tallow (Sodium Tallowate): fatty acid profile that mirrors the skin barrier
— Goat milk: proteins and lactic acid, frozen before lye addition
— Colloidal oat: same soothing mechanism as the Mineral Soak, in a bar
— Honey: humectant, lather quality

Two versions. Bare is fully unscented. Solace is roman chamomile, vanilla, and sandalwood at 0.4% essential oil load.

Step two of the ritual — after the soak, before the polish.

The full sequence: Soak → Cleanse → Polish → Crème. Each step prepares the skin for the next.

If your skin does any of these, your barrier is asking for something different.

Six signs it’s compromised — and why more products usually isn’t the answer.

The skin barrier is the outermost layer of your skin. When it’s healthy, it holds moisture in and keeps irritants out. When it’s depleted — from stripping cleansers, over-exfoliation, fragrance, stress, hard water — it stops doing both.

What it needs isn’t a new serum. It’s lipids. Gentleness. Time.

That’s what we built the Oat & Earth ritual around.

Four products. One ritual. Built for sensitive, reactive, depleted skin.
