We are mourning the loss of First Lady roslyn, Carter, the former first lady and her husband, President Jimmy Carter we’re friends of my aunt and uncle. They attended the same church. Jimmy Carter and my father served on the same submarine, and I was penpals with Amy Carter and my youth President Carter inspired my love of politics and service  my family was invited to his inauguration although we couldn’t attend however, I know personally what a great man President Carter is and his love for Roslyn was unmeasured by today’s standards and . SHe lives behind an incredible Legacy of faith, women’s rights, caregiving, memory care, homelessness, and of course, mental health, Mrs. Carter thank you for your service to this country  President, Carter and family especially my childhood doppelgänger Amy our thoughts and prayers are with you and we loved your mom
