I walked into McDonald’s after pulling a $10,000 day feeling pretty good about myself and the first thing I see is this teenager behind the counter looking like his entire life just fell apart. Slumped shoulders, dead eyes, barely moving while my fries and burger are sitting right there on the counter. I’m thinking… this is the guy handling my food? If you’re gonna work somewhere, at least pretend you want to be there.
What really irritated me was the attitude. No greeting, no energy, nothing. Just standing there staring into space like I personally ruined his day by ordering a meal. When I was his age I would’ve been hustling, smiling, doing whatever it took to move up instead of looking like I’m being forced into hard labor for minimum wage.
So I asked for the manager and told them straight up that if this kid can’t even fake a decent attitude while serving people’s food, maybe he shouldn’t be working the front at all. The manager nodded and said they’d “talk to him,” and the kid just stood there looking even more miserable while I grabbed my bag and left. Honestly I don’t care if people think that’s harsh. If you’re going to serve me food, the least you can do is act like you want to be there.

I spent my time, my gas, and dealt with traffic to deliver an order — and the tip was a bag of coins.
Five dollars in loose change. On top of a $2 app tip.
I’m not a coin jar. This isn’t a vending machine.
This job costs money to do — gas alone eats into that immediately. And handing someone a bag of spare change doesn’t come off as helpful, it comes off as disrespectful.
If you’re going to use a delivery service, tip like you understand what goes into it.

🇬🇧 Many Brits say the country has lost control of its own borders and laws.
Some believe Britain should make its own decisions again — without outside courts blocking deportations or border rules.
Others say human rights protections must stay in place no matter what.
Should the UK leave the European Court of Human Rights to regain full border control? 🚔🇬🇧
👍 YES — Britain should decide for Britain
😡 NO — Stay under international rules

No Tips, eat at home
Not a restaurant putting up a sign basically saying: “That $100 meal? It’s actually $122—don’t forget to tip.” I’m sorry, WHAT??
This isn’t a suggestion anymore—it feels like a pre-checkout guilt warning before you even sit down.
And yes, servers work hard. That’s not the point. The issue is customers being treated like they’re responsible for covering wages on top of already rising menu prices.
If your pricing needs a disclaimer to explain the “real total,” something’s off.
Tipping should be optional appreciation—not a required add-on with pressure attached.
So be honest… would you still walk in, or just turn around?

To whoever says “gas isn’t that expensive”… what reality are you in?
$6.39 for regular. $6.79 for premium. Like that’s normal now??
A basic fill-up is $150–$200 just to live life—work, errands, everything.
I remember when $3 gas caused outrage. Now $6 just gets a sigh and a card swipe.
So be honest… are we okay with this, or just stuck with it?

I need to address a serious issue that has been observed in our shared neighborhood. Since this is a family-friendly area with children and residents frequently outside during the day, it is expected that everyone maintains appropriate standards of dress while doing yard work.
Warm weather is understandable, but it does not excuse behavior that makes others uncomfortable or disrupts the shared sense of respect in the community. These standards exist for a reason, and they apply to all residents without exception.
I have already contacted the police regarding this matter to ensure it is properly documented.
This situation is not acceptable and must be corrected immediately. Continued disregard for community standards will not be tolerated.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I didn’t need a warning… the receipt said everything.
One glance—and suddenly I’m just standing there a second longer than I should be, like my brain is trying to renegotiate the number.
Because how does a *quick gas stop* turn into something you actually feel in your chest? 😅
You fold it, put it away, act normal… but that total rides with you the whole drive like a passenger you didn’t invite.
It’s crazy how a tiny piece of paper can hit harder than the tank it just filled.
No reaction. No scene. Just quiet acceptance… and driving off like, “yeah… this is life now.”
Be real—what’s the highest number you’ve ever seen and just pretended was fine? ⛽💀

To the parents of the two kids marking up our street in broad daylight… yes, I have photos of EVERYTHING and the police have already been called 😭🚔💀
And before people instantly jump in with:
“they’re just kids!”
No.
At some point people need to stop excusing EVERYTHING as:
“kids being kids” 😭
Because this isn’t paper.
This isn’t their driveway.
This isn’t a coloring book.
This is PUBLIC property 💀
There are markings all over the pavement now like the neighborhood street suddenly became somebody’s personal art project 😭
And honestly the part bothering me the most is how casual everybody acts about it.
People LIVE here.
Families walk here.
Cars drive through here.
Neighbors spend time and money keeping the area looking decent 💀
Nobody wants to look outside and see the street treated like a giant graffiti wall 😭
And before somebody says:
“it’s probably just chalk!”
Okay… and??
That still doesn’t magically mean every public surface becomes free game 💀
Because somewhere along the line people stopped teaching:
boundaries,
respect for shared spaces,
and basic awareness that neighborhoods are not giant blank canvases 😭
I genuinely do not understand where the supervision was during all this.
Because if your kids are old enough to cover streets with drawings, they are old enough to understand:
not everything exists for them to write on 💀
And yes, before anyone asks, I DID take photos and call the police because apparently somebody has to take responsibility seriously around here 😭
At minimum the parents need to:
come clean it up,
address it,
and teach their kids better before this turns into something much bigger 💀
Be honest…
would you call the police over this, or would you try talking to the parents first?? 🤔

I’m gonna say it because apparently nobody wants to anymore…
Wearing pajamas in public has gotten completely out of hand.
And no, I’m not talking about leggings or gym clothes or someone running a quick errand after work.
I mean actual bedtime pajamas.
I was at Walmart and saw a mom shopping in full-on sleep clothes.
Matching pajama pants.
House slippers.
Oversized sleep shirt.
But what really made me stop and stare?
Her kid was dressed exactly the same way.
At that point it stopped feeling like “comfort” and started feeling like people just don’t care anymore.
And before the comments roll in:
“Mind your business.”
“Who cares what people wear?”
“It’s Walmart.”
That’s not even the point.
The point is we’ve lowered the bar so much that people now act like putting on real clothes before leaving the house is some outrageous expectation.
You really couldn’t take five minutes to throw on jeans and a t-shirt?
For yourself OR your kid?
Because whether people want to admit it or not, kids learn standards from their parents.
You teach them what’s acceptable.
What effort looks like.
How you present yourself in public.
And somewhere along the way, we went from:
“Take pride in yourself before you leave the house”
to
“Eh… pajamas are fine everywhere.”
And honestly? I think people notice it more than they admit.
Public places feel sloppier now.
Nobody puts effort into anything anymore.
Everybody just wants “comfort” no matter how lazy it looks.
Again, nobody’s asking for fancy clothes at Walmart.
But there USED to be a difference between relaxing at home and walking around in public.
Now it feels like that line completely disappeared.
So seriously…
Am I overreacting?
Or are standards actually disappearing right in front of us?

To the person who thought filling a porch package with spoiled milk was some kind of genius prank — congratulations, you destroyed the inside of my brand new Mustang.
I opened the box in my car, and rotten milk spilled everywhere. Seats soaked. Carpet soaked. Door panels splashed. Clothes ruined. The whole car smells so bad it makes me gag just opening the door.
And before anyone tries to call this “just a joke,” no. Spoiled milk inside a vehicle is not something you laugh off. That smell gets into everything. It lingers. It stains. It ruins the interior.
I know where the package came from, and I’ve already contacted the police. I’m not paying to fix damage caused by someone else’s childish behavior.
What would you do in this situation — press charges, demand they pay for detailing, or both?
