Look out for this face on the interview trail!
Yesterday I submitted my application for residency. It seems so final and I feel like there are still so many unknowns about the path to come. However it’s been really great to have so many people reach out and give me tips to help me understand the application and interview process. Thanks to everyone!
Given the competitive nature of residency application season, students often apply to over 50 programs and fly all over the country to interview. It’s going to be a crazy ride… can’t wait to see all my fellow fourth years on the interview trail. Probably at the airport…😂😂😭

Hey there… just wanna give a shoutout to my wonderful volunteers and the barbers. They have made the amazing program it is!!

If you don’t already know, let me put you on. The Shop Docs was founded in 2016 to provide blood pressure testing while men wait to get their hair cut. We provide information on nutrition and exercise to prevent and control high blood pressure and heart disease.

Minorities, particularly black minorities, suffer from heart disease and high blood pressure more than any other group. However, traditional medicine has failed to address this! We want to be part of the solution. We want to help prevent heart disease and the severe complications related to this illness.
