Hi everyone!

With so much joy, I get to share some big news… I’ve signed a lease on my very own salon space!

We’ll be nestled in the heart of NE Minneapolis, inside the historic Telephone Company building on the corner of 6th St SE and 2nd Ave SE, right next to Brasa. It already feels so aligned, grounded, creative, and deeply inviting.

I’m so excited to welcome you into a space that fully embodies my aesthetic and the experience I’ve always wanted to offer you.

What to expect:
• New salon space in NE Minneapolis
• Appointments begin 4/8/26 (no action needed if you’re already
• Expanded hours starting 4/14 booked.)
• Shampoo bowl now available
• Dry haircutting remains the foundation of my work
• Shampoo services offered as add-on or standalone
• No-shoe, cozy salon environment

I’LL BE OPENING UP MY AVAILABILITY starting 4/14:
Tuesdays 3–7:30pm
Wednesdays + Thursdays 8:30am–8pm
Fridays 9am–2pm
If you ever need a weekend appointment, feel free to reach out. I may be able to accommodate you.

THIS SPACE WILL HAVE A SHAMPOO BOWL which I’m really grateful for. And I want to share how I’ll be working with that addition.

I’ve always cut hair dry, but this past year, without a shampoo bowl, I was able to really guide you through that experience. What I found, and what so many of you felt, was how much more potent the haircut became without shampoo built into the service.
More time. More presence. More attention to the way your hair naturally moves and lives.

When I’m not spending a large portion of our time at the bowl, I get to stay with you, refining, adjusting, and really seeing your hair as it unfolds. It creates a more connected, intentional result.
So while I now have a shampoo bowl, I won’t be returning to the industry standard of including a wash with every haircut.

Haircuts will remain focused on the cut itself.

Shampooing will be available as an add-on or as a standalone service, when you want that moment, or when we want to go deeper into scalp care, product, and styling in a more focused way.

SHAMPOO PRICING
Add-on shampoo + blowdry: $75 (30 min)
Standalone wash + blowdry: $125 (45 min)

At this stage in my career, I price based on time and energy, rather than the type of service. This allows me to stay present and give you the highest level of care.

One more small note, the salon will be a NO-SHOE SPACE. I’ll have slippers for you to change into when you arrive. Just bring socks, or you’re welcome to use a pair I provide.

These times call for drastic measures. ⚡️❤️

I know so many are struggling, with doors closing and uncertainty rising, but if you can act, do what you can to help build a world where all people can walk free, leave their homes, and live beautiful lives in a country that claims so much about freedom.

If you can’t stop work, please consider canceling subscriptions that fund systems harming our communities. We need to direct our monetary support to local businesses that could use it greatly, right now and always.

I am standing in solidarity with my Minnesota community. STRIKE 1/23!! I am with you!!

I will continue taking clients Friday but am asking for cash payment only. A portion of what I receive will go directly to legal aid in support of our immigrant community.

How we use our money matters. It is one of the ways we show our values and care for one another. This is one of the BIG ways of contributing and promoting action towards a present/future rooted in safety, dignity, and belonging, without ICE in Minnesota or anywhere.

Though I am currently in NYC, my heart and commitment remain with you.

Can tell us a bit more about your work?

“I am a hairstylist by trade, living every day as an artist. Not every stylist leads with this kind of lifestyle. I live and breathe my work, taking in the world around me, noticing the details that make things beautiful, that hold ease in their being, that show us what it takes to transform and break free. Life is a sensory and aesthetic journey, and that is how I see hair.

Hair is a living fiber that travels with us through life. It is a companion, a teacher, and at times, an enemy. It is a gateway to healing, sending messages from within. It is soulful and aesthetic, deep and surface, beautiful and challenging.

Aesthetics are the foundation of my work, not in the superficial sense, but as a language of harmony, proportion, and feeling. I see myself as a guide, helping people live in their hair with ease and coolness. Whether behind the chair or on set, I ask questions that invite clients to connect more deeply to what they are really asking for. I cut hair dry, in its natural state, fascinated by how it moves like trees in the wind, creating natural shape. I crave hair instead of just cutting it. I sculpt it to move with the person. It is a dance.”
