What does your natural makeup look like after 14 hours and a torrential downpour?
Here’s how my day went lol!
My eyeshadow, foundation, highlighter, and blush without a rain drop mark or streaking

**To be fair the mascara wasn’t waterproof.

Yup I was that tired that I didn’t realize until after editing that I had my shirt inside out.

Celebrate with me. 300 followers is a huge deal! If I was supposed to speak in front of all 300 of you in a room I’d p*e my pants or pass out! Other accounts might have an extra 3 zeros to their follower count but I’m not them.

This account launched in January of this year, but I didn’t really know what I was doing until last month.
Thanks for being here! šŸ«¶šŸ¼

Started with no clue that products weren’t safe just because they are sold on shelves.

Many of these I associate with sneezing after using or consuming, I did that a lot before I understood what toxins were and how they affected my body.

I loved these things, and some I still do. Some of these things I’ll never touch again. I didn’t know what it meant to read ingredients. But I can’t turn back now!

Ahhhhh breath of fresh air. I learned about reading ingredients on food, labels, and personal care items and found products that were free of harmful chemicals.

No sneezing or allergic reactions. My immune system is stronger. My periods are easier. My energy is higher than it’s ever been. My sleep and mood are both better. I’ll never turn back.

if you wanna no more about any of these items, just shoot me a message.

I’ve got a big week ahead and I’ve taken my deep breaths and focused on self-awareness. What do I need to do today to set myself up for a smoother full-time work week?

I decided to organize and restock my diaper bag, prep my outfit for tomorrow, take a nap and an everything shower, pump, and meal prep.

No cleaning was done, although there’s dishes in the sink and a laundry pile on the couch that need to be folded and put away from drying clothes without a dryer.šŸ˜…

I decided to take care of my nervous system in the way I knew it needed it most. If I can’t do it all (which is 99% of the time) then I need to ensure my time is spent on things that actually help me out on my busiest days. Dishes can wait one more day but last minute panic about the diaper bag… no thanks.

What’s something you do to set yourself up for the week?

Day 2 update. I’m a bit behind but it’s just the start!

Saving $3000 in 45 days to surprise my husband with a new mattress: Backstory

He is doing the hardest and longest travel portion of his job and the same week it’s over we are moving from our apartment to a rental home.

Our current mattress is so worn down it is contributing to his back problems rather than relieving them. So I decided this would be the perfect opportunity to surprise him with a brand new mattress!

A fresh start.
A bed he actually wants to come home to!

I only need $62 per day… šŸ˜…šŸ˜¬
Follow along to see if we make it happen!

I laughed when she said ā€œI got a good shot of his face.ā€
I was crying laughing so hard. I couldn’t make out ANYTHING from it.

I was 41 weeks and had to go in for an ultrasound stress test to ensure the baby was A-OK. He was thriving (no wonder he stayed in until 42 weeks)

My baby felt so out of reach, like he was never coming, like he wasn’t real.

Then proceeded to hand me this ā€œpicture of his faceā€ on the way out.

It took every positive bone in my body to laugh it off. But the lies of doubt did knock at the door. The silliest lies looking back. Ones that told me my baby wasn’t real, he was never going to arrive, I would never see his face…

I had to wait a few more days, but of course, my pregnancy was not an eternal physical state I lived in.

It took a lot of looking at it, showing it to someone with helpful guidance and I finally saw his face in this photo.

Tell me if you can tell it’s his face. Be honest!

SOS! I want to share my birth story but I don’t know how!

I’m mostly struggling to know where to start!

Should I talk about the pregnancy as an overview, then last few weeks, then labor?

Should I break it up into stages of birth? Or just a rough storyline? Or more like a play by play?

I don’t want it to be a 10 part series but I also don’t think I can share all there is to say in 3…

Help I don’t know where to begin!

I knew I’d have a huge baby with a big head. Why? Because my husband is 6’2ā€ and was also born with a big head.

I know that doesn’t always happen, but as soon as I was pregnant I knew I was going to have a boy, I knew he’d be big, and I knew he’d come late.

I didn’t expect to be THIS right.

lol his head seems almost as big as mine already. It isn’t but sometimes the angle has me convinced šŸ˜…šŸ¤£
