I couldn’t find a before picture but I redid my swing cushions

Healing isn’t always green juice and gym selfies.

Sometimes it’s choosing not to react the way you were taught to.
Sometimes it’s learning how to be calm when chaos feels familiar.
Sometimes it’s parenting differently than you were parented.

That’s the kind of health I’m working on.

I don’t really talk about it much, but my health has been kicking my butt lately.

Some days I’m fine.
Some days I’m not.
And some days I’m just trying to make it through without crying in frustration.

It’s exhausting not knowing what’s wrong or why your body won’t just cooperate. But I’m still here. Still trying. Still going to appointments. Still showing up.

That’s all I’ve got right now.

Went a little rogue and cut my hair, but it looks so good. The year of cosmetology school paid off even though I didn’t finish. 🤣🤣🤣  maybe by time I die it’ll equivalent to enough haircuts and hair dyes
