This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write.

Unfortunately due to medical issues,
I am no longer able to continue my career as a hairstylist.

It has been my greatest joy in life to stand behind the chair for a decade and pour love into each and every one of you.

I cannot thank you all enough for the time we shared together.

I have made the decision to close Myth Studio tomorrow to stay off of the roads in order to allow emergency and rescue personnel and their vehicles the ability to reach those in need.

I am sending all of the love and healing thoughts to those who have been affected.

I cannot tell you all how much I love my dentist and his entire team. I never thought the dentist could be fun until I went there. And then I get home today, and am surprised with the sweetest house warming gift. BRB while I cry

But seriously, Hall Dental Studio is the best.

This is probably going to make some of you uncomfortable-

But let’s talk about money.

When stylists decide to do price raises, it’s not because we’re greedy jerks who don’t care about you. It’s because our cost of products have risen SIGNIFICANTLY, especially in the past year.

For a lot of people, Veterans Day is a long weekend and some good BBQ.

For me, it’s been a time to be grateful for the men in my life who served. To be grateful for the man the military made them, and mourn the pieces of them lost to war.

To laugh and remember how I learned my first curse word. When 6 year old me asked my Papa what he did in the Army, he looked at me and said “I blew s**t up.”

To be saddened when I remember why my partner has a grey streak in the front of his hair.

I am grateful for every single man in these pictures, and every person who makes the choice to serve.

Thank you all for everything you’ve given this country and given me.
