Memorial Day is more than a three day weekend or the start of summer. Today we honor the military service members who paid the ultimate price for our freedoms. Let’s all pause to remember and thank them. We are grateful to them all. 🇺🇸

We missed World Bee Day this week but we are still going to post in honor of these incredible creatures. A dear friend of mine was so amazing in allowing me to come along and learn about bees and harvesting their gift of honey.
Why are bees and honey so amazing? I’m glad you asked.

Parsley! I grow this every year in a pot and it always yields so much for me. It’s gets the morning sun and it’s so happy that way. I place all of this (minus the thick stems) in a dehydrator so I can use this all year. Set it low and slow to keep the bright green color and flavor in this herb. I set mine at 125 degrees for 6 hours. Once it’s done I hand crush it, it doesn’t need a blender, and place in a mason jar. Dried parsley that tastes fresh all year!
