I know I was spiraling last week and really having trouble finding joy, but after a weekend with lots of time spent outside, I’m starting to feel a bit better despite all the evil.

Today I decided to try to make time for at least 3 “joy activities” a week: meaning things that either bring me joy, are all encompassing (to take my mind off the evil) or are calming.

Today I canned up our maple syrup and for me that’s definitely an all encompassing chore that leaves me feeling like I’ve rebelled a little bit against the system.

How are you handling life right now? So grateful we have plenty of space outside!
