Guided by the World Health Emergencies programme, and in-line with the International Health Regulations, to better prepare, mitigate and respond to Public Health risks, a delegation from joined over 140 colleagues from 23 countries across the region in the World Health Organization (WHO) - UNICEF meeting on Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE), to build capacity, enhance methods of cross-sectoral integration, strengthen knowledge of social and behavioural data, and develop insights and evidence to strengthen national multihazard strategies in response to systematic RCCE work in prevention, preparedness and response to health emergencies.
