We hope you and your loved ones are healthy and well!

We are reopening Tuesday, 9/8/2020. For the safety of our clients and our staff, we will operate at a limited capacity which would allow us to physically distance appointments/clients. In addition, our business hours will be reduced which will allow our staff the time to sanitize and disinfect our establishment at the end of each day. Our business hours will be from 10am – 6pm, 7 days a week. Last appointment for each day will be 4:30pm.

In addition to limiting our capacity and reducing our operating hours to keep everyone safe, our staff will be tested every two weeks for COVID-19. Our staff will be wearing a mask. Clients are required to have a mask/covering on before entering our establishment. Clients temperature will be taken upon arrival. Clients will also need to sanitize their hands and clothes when entering our establishment. Before your appointment begins, your booked Esthetician will discuss with you the treatment(s) you need while both having their face mask/covering on. A plexiglass will be used during your session. This would ensure the safety of our client and staff. We do not recommend clients talking to our staff during their session. After the client’s session is finished, the client has changed back to their regular clothes, and putting on a face mask/covering, our staff will discuss with the client what was done and what they will need. The room used by the client will be sanitized and disinfected once the client is finished with their session and leaves our establishment. We will ensure that clients are physically distanced from each other in common areas such as hallways, bathrooms, and our reception lounge.

As New York City enters phase 4 reopening Monday, 7/20/20, we would like to update our clients that Face II Skin Care will remain closed until future notice. We had anticipated to open but without any updates regarding the personal care industry we will abide by the restriction set on phase 3 guidance. We will notify our clients as we have new updates from government officials regarding when we are allowed to open.

Dear Face II Clients,

New York Officials updated their Phase 3 reopening guidance for the personal care industry on 7/1/2020. On this update, we are not allowed to reopen due to the services we provide requiring clients to remove their face covering/mask in order to perform facials. The following excerpt is copied from the guidance.

C. Workplace Activity
• Responsible Parties are prohibited from offering personal care services that may require customers to remove face coverings (e.g. face massage, facials, face waxing around lip or nose areas, face tattoos, facial makeup, cosmetic lip tattooing, or lip or nose piercings).

We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences that this may have caused especially to clients who had already booked an appointment. We thank you for your understanding and continued support. We hope to reopen soon and look forward to seeing everyone!

The wait is over. As New York City enters phase 3 reopening this coming Monday, 7/6/20, we are also reopening on the same day. However, for the safety of our clients and our staff, we will operate at a limited capacity which would allow us to social distance between appointments/clients. Our business hours will be reduced as well. Reducing our hours will allow our staff the time to sanitize and disinfect our whole establishment at the end of each day. Our business hours will be from 10am – 6pm, 7 days a week. Last appointment for each day will be 4:30pm.

In addition to limiting our capacity and reducing our operating hours to keep everyone safe, our staff will be tested every two weeks for COVID-19. Our staff will be wearing a mask. A client’s temperature will be taken upon arrival. Clients will also need to sanitize their hands after entering our establishment. We will require clients to wear a face covering/mask when they come in for their appointment. Clients will need to take their face covering/mask off during their facial treatment. We do not recommend clients talking to our staff during their session. This would ensure the safety of our client and staff. After the client’s session is finished, the client has changed back to their regular clothes, and putting on a face covering/mask, our staff will discuss with the client what was done and what they will need. The room used by the client will be sanitized and disinfected once the client is finished with their session and leaves our establishment. We will ensure that clients are socially distanced from each other in common areas such as hallways, bathrooms, and our reception lounge.
