This Thanksgiving, our team came together with Cynthia to help provide food baskets for families in need at several Brooklyn Title 1 schools, where more than 60% of students are from low-income households. Schools included PS287, Dock Street School, PS307, PS270, and PS3.
Thank you, Cynthia and Ms. Gloria, for organizing and leading this effort, and thank you to every guest and staff member who donated food or money to support these families.

At [salon]718, education isn’t a phase. It’s the foundation of everything we do.
We believe that to elevate our industry, we have to start by elevating ourselves. Every educator on our team participates in our ongoing advanced educator sessions designed to strengthen not only technical hair skills but also the art of teaching.
We first launched this journey with ‘s Train the Trainers course, and it inspired us to keep going. Now, our trainers regularly come together to refine how they teach, connect, and communicate. They learn everything from identifying different types of learners to how to teach specific techniques and break each one down clearly for every stylist’s skill level.
Being a great stylist starts with skill. Being a great teacher starts with understanding. And that commitment to growth is what sets our team and our education culture apart. ✂️💡

Where [beauty] meets courage 🩷
1 in 8 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. Chances are, someone you know has been touched by it.
This October, our [salon]718 team is raising awareness and funds for Brooklyn Hospital, supporting patients and families right here in our community.
Each team member donated to take part: $20 for a pink tee👚and $5 for denim days👖. We’re inviting our guests to join us in giving back. Every contribution helps bring hope, care, and strength where it’s needed most.
