BAKEL was born in 2008 in a laboratory in Italy, founded by chemist . A simple but apparently impossible mission: the creation of completely clean and absolutely effective products. In her first chemistry position out of university, Raffaella encountered skincare formulas with overwhelmingly low quantities of the active ingredients they promised to deliver. Pooling her resources in skincare and chemistry together, Raffaella set out to formulate serums composed entirely of active ingredients, with no unnecessary additions, marking the beginning of our dedication to products with proven efficacy.
