Last Thursday was one of the proudest moments of our lives, and honestly, it has taken me a few days to even find the right words.

Watching our daughter Mimi graduate from the University at Albany was emotional in every way. Over the years, we have watched her push through long nights, stress, sacrifices, and moments of self-doubt with so much strength and determination. To now see her walk across that stage with her Criminal Justice & Sociology degree was something we will never forget.

But what makes this moment even more special is knowing this is only the beginning. Mimi was also accepted into the Criminal Justice Master’s Program, and we could not be more proud of the path she is creating for herself.

Through all of this, she has also continued helping build Mimi & Yves Travel Essentials behind the scenes — balancing school, responsibilities, and business with so much dedication. So many people only see the finished product, but we have seen the hard work, exhaustion, perseverance, and heart she has poured into everything she does.

As parents, there is nothing more meaningful than watching your child grow into someone kind, driven, resilient, and passionate about their future. Mimi, you have made us proud beyond words.
