When a close friend is suddenly gone forever, a part of us never stops expecting that person to walk around the corner or call us on the phone. That's the part of us that knows they're always there. Though you are suddenly gone from this world, you will never leave the universe of my heart. Even though it feels like everything changed in an instant, I know you will always be the friend of my heart. I wasn't ready for you to leave, dear friend. You were my person, and even though you're suddenly gone, I know you still are. Losing you suddenly means I will spend a lifetime thinking of the goodbyes I didn't get to say. The #1 regret people mention while lying on their deathbeds is, “I wish I had the courage to live the life I really wanted.”  It is an insightful admission and an invaluable bit of wisdom. Yet far too many of us, regardless of knowing this fact, still take life for granted. We know we should be doing things differently.  We know we want to be living our life to the fullest, yet, way too many of us still spend countless years in a job we don’t love, in a relationship we don’t like, living out our lives in the exact opposite of what we really want. And tragically, too many of us, let our days pass us by in an uninspired state of mere existence. ❤️

Life can be tough, it has its challenges. But, life also has its breaks. And the people living their best lives, are the ones who persist through those challenges, and then… have the audacity to believe they deserve the best life has to offer them. I believe you deserve it, but you have to believe it. So, believe you deserve the greatest life has to offer, and then get busy living out your adventure!❤️🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾❤️

You only have one life to live, so be sure to live it your way. Enjoy the little things in life, for one day; you may look back and realize they were the big things. The purpose of life, after all, is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for a newer and richer experience. Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the things you did. There is only one success, to be able to spend your life in your own way. You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough. It is not the years in your life but the life in your years that counts. ❤️🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾👌🏾😘❤️🙏🏾

Tuesday Lesson:

Throughout life, people will make you mad, disrespect you and treat you badly. Let God deal with their actions because hate in your heart will consume you too. We must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive. He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love. The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong. One who does not realize his own mistake won’t improve. He will remain resistant to change unless he is thrashed by his conscience, like rocks on the sea shore are thrashed by the waves of harsh water. Hard rocks change their shape. The very continents on this planet shift away from each other, every nanosecond. The entire universe is expanding in time and space and is in constant change. Change is constant; accepting your errors will help you grow. While neglecting them will change your circumstances. But change will come one or the other way. So learn to accept your errors. One of the best roads to self-improvement is acceptance of personal mistakes and correcting them as soon as possible.❤️👌🏾❤️👌🏾❤️🙏🏾❤️. Learn to spend your days with peace, love, happiness, and laughter, don't destroy a beautiful day with constant anger over small stupid things in life. Feeling guilt dims our light. Instead of dimming our light to make others feel more comfortable, we could just continue to shine and foster the rise of the vibrations of those around us.

Being Happy and Feeling Good does not mean you have no compassion for the misery of those around you. It simply means you won’t dim your light to make them feel comfortable – instead, you’re going to help light the way.

At first, your light may be a bit too bright for others and it may hurt their eyes, yet it’s far better to shine rather than to hide your light. When you hide your light for too long, it extinguishes and you slip right back into darkness…unable to find your way until someone ‘shiny’ comes along to light your way and help you to find the light you still possess within, your Soul’s Magnificence.

Life is about balance!

By embracing an essence of positivity, you do not pretend that the negative does not exist- it most certainly does. However, you simply choose to not focus on it. Your mind does not rule you, you rule your mind. Choose a different thought. Seek a new perspective. Challenge yourself to re-set your mental compass. Spending time outdoors and in nature can prove extremely healing for the mind and body. Look for balance! And balance means a healthy dose of positive to counteract the negative. Mindfulness techniques can help to re-set your mental and emotional landscape. Often, our negative thinking is a trauma response to a past event, or perhaps a fearful reaction to something we are afraid of happening in the future. Mindfulness brings you back to the here and now- this is where you have the control to change things.

What happens in your brain can heavily affect what goes on inside the body.
Numerous studies have found a strong and indisputable connection between positivity and your health. It is noted that positive thinking can bring about positive actions, and positive actions then spur on positive results. First, we think and then we act, so it makes total sense to change our thinking and thereby act more positively for a good result down the line. Positive thought has been noted to help lower blood pressure, lower heart disease, reduce stress, improve immune function, manage a healthier weight and help to balance hormones. Life is too short to dwell in problems and on negativity. Make the best out of life with a positive mindset, and you will never regret living.❤️🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾

Perast Town in Montenegro 🇲🇪 🇲🇪 ❤️
Perast is an old town in the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro. It is situated a few kilometres northwest of Kotor and is noted for its proximity to the islets of St. George and Our Lady of the Rocks. Perast, as an absolute highlight of the Bay of Kotor, is also one of the most beautiful Baroque towns in Montenegro. As a former sailor center it still shines with marvelous buildings, pretty churches and a romantic waterfront. Nevertheless, the main attractions of Perast, and also the most famous postcard motif of Kotor Bay, are the 2 offshore church islands, which can be visited on a boat trip.🇲🇪💃🇲🇪💃🇲🇪💃❤️💃❤️💃

Is Perast worth visiting?

Conclusion: Perast is a real highlight of every Montenegro trip. It impresses with many beautiful attractions, magnificent buildings and the picturesque church islands in the deep blue sea.
Perast has a long history, which is dating back to the 13th century. As the center for boaters, captains and sailors, the small town grew steadily and gained wealth at the 16th century. During a walk through the old town you can still admire many splendid villas and marvelous buildings, which have already been well restored. Inside the old town along the narrow streets you will find around 16 different churches. Probably the most famous church in Perast and one of the main attractions is the Church of St Nicholas. With a 55-meter-high bell tower, it is the highest building in all of the Bay of Kotor.
Tip: From the church tower, you have a great view over the old town, the glittering sea, and the church islands.
Without a doubt, the most beautiful attraction of Perast is the two small islets of St. George Island (Sveti Đorđe) and Our Lady of the Rocks (Gospa od Škrpjela). Only the Gospa od Škrpjela can be visited on a boat trip. Boats leave regularly (every 15 minutes) directly from the waterfront of Perast. The boat trip currently costs 5, – Euro per person. Whether on a trip or as part of a round trip, a visit to this coastal town is definitely worth it! Explore the old town of Perast. ❤️🇲🇪💃🇲🇪❤️🇲🇪💃❤️🇲🇪

IS KOTOR WORTH VISITING?
Kotor is one the best things to see in Montenegro. This stunning coastal city is full of things to see and do, and there are gorgeous views from every direction.
It’s not a question of whether Kotor is worth visiting, but how long you can stay here!
HOW LONG SHOULD I SPEND IN KOTOR?
One day is far too short to spend in Kotor although, if that’s all you have, you will still be able to see the main sights and get a sense of how beautiful it is. But the charm of Kotor is being able to explore Kotor Bay by boat or road and see some of the smaller towns and sights in the area.
I would recommend spending at least two full days in Kotor and, if you can, consider basing yourself here for a whole week to explore and relax.
WHAT IS KOTOR KNOWN FOR?
Kotor is known as the most beautiful town on the coast of Montenegro (well, technically its in a bay, but close enough). In particular, Kotor is known for the Medieval Old Town and the 16th-century fortifications that rise up the hill to protect it.
One of the reasons Kotor is so popular these days is because of the incredible views across the bay from the walls and fortress.
WHAT IS THERE TO DO IN KOTOR ON A CRUISE?
If you arrive in Kotor on a cruise, your time may be limited but there are still lots of things you can do. Wander through the Old Town, climb up some of the fortifications, and head along the coast to Perast. I’ve got all the details and even more suggestions later in this story.

I find Montenegro to be a very relaxing place, where nothing is ever too rushed and part of the charm of visiting is slowing down and appreciating each moment.

Having said that, it is worth giving a bit of thought to the things in Kotor that you want to do, so you can have some form of a plan before you arrive.🇲🇪❤️🇲🇪❤️🇲🇪❤️🇲🇪🇲🇪❤️

Whatever your age or fitness level—even if you’ve never exercised a day in your life —there are steps you can take to make exercise less intimidating and painful and more fun and instinctive.❤️💪🏾❤️

1. Ditch the all-or-nothing attitude. You don’t have to spend hours in a gym or force yourself into monotonous or painful activities you hate to experience the physical and emotional benefits of exercise. A little exercise is better than nothing. In fact, adding just modest amounts of physical activity to your weekly routine can have a profound effect on your mental and emotional health. ❤️💪🏾

2. Be kind to yourself. Research shows that self-compassion increases the likelihood that you’ll succeed in any given endeavor. So, don’t beat yourself up about your body, your current fitness level, or your supposed lack of willpower. All that will do is demotivate you. Instead, look at your past mistakes and unhealthy choices as opportunities to learn and grow.💪🏾❤️💪🏾❤️💪🏾❤️💪🏾❤️💪🏾❤️💪🏾❤️

3. Check your expectations. You didn’t get out of shape overnight, and you’re not going to instantly transform your body either. Expecting too much, too soon only leads to frustration. Try not to be discouraged by what you can’t accomplish or how far you have to go to reach your fitness goals. Instead of obsessing over results, focus on consistency. Improve your health one day at a time. Why do we find it so hard to stick to regular exercise, even when we know it helps reduce stress, boost mood and self-esteem, improve concentration, sleep and energy levels, and reduce aches and pains? Small changes are the key to seeing big results. ❤️🙏🏾❤️

The truth is that the majority of us who set exercise or health improvement goals don’t achieve them, which can be especially frustrating if you’re a motivated and conscientious type who has no trouble meeting demanding deadlines and targets at work. ‘I knew I needed to lose 14lbs (6kg), but despite being a focused, determined person, I failed at every diet I embarked on😅😅. I’d start full of enthusiasm, living off juices or cutting carbs, then give up after a week. It wasn’t until I started to make small, daily changes to my life, like walking more, cutting portion-size, not having bread with meals, and cutting out alcohol in the week, that the weight finally came off and stayed off. And most importantly, I inspired myself by telling myself to take it one step at a time. 💪🏾🏃🏾❤️🙏🏾❤️🏃🏾💪🏾❤️.
