💡Cakey Makeup 101💡
Why? How? How to fix it?! 🤯 questions that will pop up in your head.
Cake is delicious, but a cakey face doesn’t look as delightful.
So what are the common reasons?
1️⃣One of the reasons why makeup becomes cakey is because your face has too much dead skin. So, the first step is exfoliate the face. Dermaplaning would work wonders as well! 😊️
2️⃣ Too much moisturizer on the skin isn’t good with makeup as well. If there’s moisturizer not absorbed by the skin, blot it up.
3️⃣Skipping the primer. Nope!
4️⃣Using the wrong foundation for your skin type. You want your foundation to work with your skin—not against it—so it's essential to first determine which formulation will work best for your skin type.
😘😘😘
✨Radio Frequency Treatment✨
❗️FACT CHECK
As you age, your cells produce less collagen, which leads to sagging skin and wrinkles. Skin laxity occurs around age 35 to 40 when the quantity and quality of your collagen begins to decline.
🧬That’s why Radio Frequency facial is an amazing addition to you skin care plan!
The procedure involves using energy waves to heat the deep layer of your skin known as your dermis. This heat stimulates the production of collagen.
⠀
1️⃣The primary benefits of RF therapy are tightening your skin and getting rid of wrinkles.
2️⃣However, RF therapy may also help fight sun damage due to its ability stimulate the production of collagen.

🙅🏻♀️SAY NO TO AT-HOME DERMAPLANING 🙅🏻♀️
To understand the procedure better, let’s go over its steps. How we do it:
1️⃣We first cleanse and thoroughly dry your skin.
2️⃣Then with the Dermaplaning surgical blade, i use short, swift strokes to scrape off dead skin cells and peach fuzz.
✅You will immediately notice a radiant look with an evener skin tone and texture.
✅All of the peach fuzz is gone, which is why first-timers say their skin has never felt so soft before.⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
❌But beauties, do not try it at home! With the sharp blade you can get cuts, that will lead to PERMANENT scarring. Or you can spread acne bacteria. 😖
Always see a professional! 😘

“MY SKIN TYPE CHANGED”…🤔
❓Did you know?
Your skin type is genetically determined and that is not something that changes with the season or time.
There is a difference between your skin going through temporary shifts vs. your skin type permanently changing. Lack of sleep, diet, weather, short hormonal shifts — can lead to temporary changes. But your skin type stays the same.
What is your skin type?👇🏼

🍼ACNE AND DAIRY: IS THERE A LINK?🍼
🙀Skin health experts all over the world agree that what you eat shows up on your face, and in the case of dairy, it's rarely good!
❗️Facts!
🐄Cows produce milk to feed their baby calves and help them grow. Whey and casein, the proteins in milk, stimulate growth and hormones in calves — and in us when we drink their milk.
🥛When we digest these proteins, they release a hormone similar to insulin, called IGF-1. This hormone is known to trigger breakouts. Sometimes the hormones in milk can also interact with our own hormones, confusing our body’s endocrine system and signaling breakouts.
🤗So yes, cutting dairy may be a great idea for those willing to have better and clearer skin.
🙌🏼Plus there are sooooo many delicious dairy-free options available these days!
Try, for example, Trader Joe’s dairy-free cream cheese and ice cream, to die for! 😋
