POV: Grocery shopping with my postpartum client. 🛒🤍
Today we’re shopping smart by choosing what’s on sale and in season while talking about simple nutrition swaps, like choosing spelt flour over bleached white flour and the nutritional benefits of h**p hearts.
Postpartum support goes beyond birth. It’s about helping moms make informed choices that support healing and everyday wellness. 🌿
✨ Stay tuned for Part 3: Everything she purchased!
I headed over to spend time with one of my postpartum mamas, baby in tow, to help with something as simple (but so meaningful) as laundry.
Sometimes postpartum care looks like newborn education.
Sometimes it’s emotional support.
Sometimes it’s making sure Mom gets a shower, a meal, or a moment to breathe.
And sometimes, it’s taking that long overdue trip to the laundromat.
This is what birth work looks like beyond the delivery room. It’s showing up, easing the mental load, and reminding mothers that they were never meant to do this alone.
To every new mom: you deserve support, too. 🫶🏾

Day 8 of my raw fast, and I’m officially down 12 lbs. 🌱✨
This journey has been about so much more than the number on the scale.
It’s about building discipline, choosing foods that nourish my body instead of giving in to every craving. Every meal is a reminder that food can either fuel healing or keep us stuck in old habits.
One of the biggest benefits has been giving my digestive system a much-needed break. My body feels lighter, my energy is up, my digestion has been moving better, and my skin has been thanking me every step of the way.
Discipline isn’t punishment, it’s choosing your long-term health over temporary satisfaction.
I’m learning that when you treat your body with intention, it has an incredible way of responding.
Here’s to Day 8. We will meet again next month! 💚🌿
POV: Muva and Papa Bear practicing comfort supportive positions before labor day 🤎✨ Part 2
Labor support isn’t just about being present, it’s about knowing how to help mom feel safe, grounded, and supported through every wave 🌊 These positions can help encourage comfort, relaxation, connection, and movement during labor.
Practice now so it feels natural when baby says it’s time 👶🏾✨
Comfort supportive positions can make such a difference during labor 🤍✨
Movement, counter pressure, swaying, and supported positions can help promote relaxation, relieve pressure, and support baby’s positioning throughout labor. As a birth worker, I love helping clients find what feels safest and most comfortable for their body during birth 👶🏽
Save this for your birth prep and send to an expecting mama ✨
Growing a tiny human and craving something sweet? 🍫✨
Made these healthier “Snickers” bites for my beautiful third trimester birth work client ✨ nourishing, satisfying, and packed with ingredients that support pregnancy, energy, and labor prep 🤎
✨ Dates are a natural source of quick energy, fiber, potassium, and iron, making them an amazing snack during late pregnancy and even during labor when your body needs fuel.
✨ Nut butter + nuts provide healthy fats, protein, magnesium, and lasting energy to help keep blood sugar more balanced and support baby’s growth and mama’s nourishment.
✨ And of course… chocolate 🍫 because pregnancy sweet cravings are REAL 😅 Preferably dark chocolate for a richer source of antioxidants, magnesium, and a more balanced sweetness while still feeling indulgent.
These bites are:
✔️ Naturally sweetened
✔️ Energy boosting
✔️ Protein + healthy fat balanced
✔️ Perfect for the birthing bag
✔️ Easy to snack on during labor or postpartum
✔️ Sweet, satisfying, and nourishing all at once
Because preparing for birth also means preparing to nourish your body well 🤍✨
