CGI is for wimps – this is as real as it gets. Stunt doubles were not an option (artistic integrity, not to mention budgetary concerns). With everything on the line, cinematographer Bogdan Tyburczy took on the role of stunt coordinator for a daring, make-or-break, film-history-in-the-making moment. Traffic was halted, streets closed; producers double-checked insurance policies. The faint of heart were advised to leave the set, while the rest of us collectively held our breath…
