Deep texture x Face frame

Lily came In with a cut at the similar length but the balance was off.
The previous stylist had added layers to the back and they were very choppy, as the length and style of the hair was not long enough to have layers.
We re balanced the bottom And face frame, without taking too much length off.
Texturized from the underneath to create the movement and blend the previous layers
Great example of how you can dramatically transform the look, feel, and everyday wear of a haircut without a dramatic change in the bottom length.

This was a fun challenge!

Kiki came in with a “wulf cut” and said she was over it.

I took the back up, re angled the front, and blended the layers by texturizing the underneath.
It wasn’t perfect at the end but a meaningful change that we think is more flattering and wash and wear (easy) for her at home.

We have been experimenting with slightly different lengths and ways of texturizing to see what she likes best. But so far so good with the transition from super long to shorter hair.
