Unless you’re blonde and especially if you’re freshly blonde. I 100% DO NOT recommend getting your hair in chlorine since it can greatly affect the tone of the blonde. Sometimes even giving a greenish tone that may need to be re-lightened out of the hair by a professional.

Tips for avoiding this:

•Wet the hair down with tap water prior to getting into the pool or ocean. This helps prevent the hair from absorbing the pool or ocean water.

•Rinse immediately after getting out.

And the most usual pro tip:

DON’T GET YOUR HAIR IN THE POOL AT ALL‼️

Had the pleasure of completing a successful corrective color on a new client last week!

It was a home color gone wrong. There were previous highlights then an all over blonde box applied at home. Which resulted in bands and a very brassy blonde.

I corrected with highs and lows. Then an ashy gloss all over.

This took me around 4 and half hours to complete!
