My body suffered massive muscle loss through covid. For the past 2 weeks Iβve been working every day to build back up what was very quickly lost with lack of daily training, plus covid, plus lack of motivation.
Things got pretty grim this past year, so Iβm grateful to my amazing friend and trainer ( he doesnβt have instagram YET) for kicking me back into shape.
This may not be a popular thing to say but yoga isnβt going to make you strong in the long run. In order to build strength ( and lasting strength) one must build muscle and the only way to do that is strength training, some targeted HIT workouts and weight training. This will support your body in the long run. Yoga practice alone and only yoga practice is not a complete practice. Shorter targeted training is more effective and better for your joints and muscles. Keep practicing !
