My hair journey started with damage, frustration, and a lot of trial and error. As a Black girl who swam competitively, I didn’t always know how to protect or care for my hair, and over time, it became thin and brittle.
But when I started studying environmental science, I began asking a different question: What am I actually putting on my hair, scalp, and body?
That question led me to build EarthCurl Organics: low-waste, non-toxic hair care rooted in performance, transparency, and care for our health and the planet.

Oftentimes whenever I see frizz, I feel like I have to lay my hair, but recently I’ve been giving my hair a rest from too many products and simply focusing on my hair health. Would you do your natural hair without gel or a laying product or is that a must have?!
