Happy Saturday Friends! For this month’s Group Share I’m sharing this vignette in our diningroom. I love to gather objects that tell a story through color and continuity of objects. Here I have Art - both hanging and leaning, Twig Candles, loads of Wedgwood, a clock, and a modern vase with twigs dogwood branches and twinkle lights. I love how it’s all come together.💙💚💙

We started the week off Sunday with a visit to historic Dey Mansion where George Washington headquartered there with 3,000 men in the summer and fall of 1780. The rest of the week has been about the garden here at the Chalet, we’re checking things off our ToDo List and we added new plantings - hoping to Mulch soon. I managed to do a ton of work for the website - writing several future articles. I hosted the last Book Club of the season at church Wednesday evening, we chatted about The Irish Goodbye which we all mostly enjoyed. Our next meeting is in September. This morning I’m off for a long walk with a gf, later I’ll be doing a bit of purging of piles around my desk and if the weather holds we’re going to a BBQ tonight. Friends I’ve been obsessed with Peonies since visiting last week. I shared a reel, I published a post over on my website and went back to 2017 here on Insta resharing old posts in stories. I implore you to visit if you’re in NJ and if you’re not find a peony farm local or not so local to you! When I haven’t been working with the Chalet hubby ticking things off our very long garden ToDo List I’ve been knee deep in Dr. appts - both check-ups and follow-ups and I’m happy to report we’re all fairing well here at the Chalet. Another fabulous Friday with an outing! I’m off w/ & for lunch and a much anticipated visit to This week started out rainy but the weather improved and today looks lovely. Between chats and IG stories I’ve been outside - setting up patio furniture, w**ding, pruning and planting! Hoping the deer don’t mistake my Morning Glory, Honeysuckle or Mandevilla for salad! I’ll be back outside tomorrow and Sunday ticking things off our very long ToDo List. Cheers to the weekend 🥂!

Early morning sunlight and peonies friends! Happy Thursday - school drop off is done and I’ve grabbed my gardening bag, debris bucket and I’m about to prune and w**d. This gardening stuff sure takes a lot of energy and time! 😆🌷🌳🌸

Hoping your day is awesome! Oh and I’m thrilled is opening tomorrow. I can’t wait to visit - regardless of what the blooms will be like because of the late frost. I’ll pay to walk around on their beautiful farm and hopefully bring a bunch of peonies home. If you’re within an hour or more - soooo worth the drive! It’s an equisite site!

Its Friday Yay! I’m so excited - this weekend I’m off on an adventure - a historic home tour on Long Beach Island 🏡 I can’t wait! This week has been incredible - Mother’s Day spent with family - was so fun. Did you see my stories from Monday? I was in NYC to meet my dear friend Patricia from Florida we had bruch it was terrific to spend time together! Wednesday evening I moderated Book Club and we discussed Mona’s Eyes. Of 9 people - 3 thumbs up / 4 thumbs down and 2 in the middle. I was a thumb in the middle - I loved the art history friends but didn’t enjoy the other aspects of the book. The week has been filled with organizing, cleaning and w**ding. Cheers to the weekend friends!🥂
