Yesterday’s second extension client came in for a full reinstall and customization day 🤍

We removed all 3 rows of her sew-in extensions along with her tape-ins, and after reassessing her hair and lifestyle, we realized the tape-ins around the face just weren’t the best fit for her. Instead of forcing a method that wasn’t working, we adjusted her placement and customized her install so she could get the fullness and blend she wanted without needing the tape-ins at all 👏🏼

THIS is why custom extension placement matters so much. Every head of hair is different, and what works for one client may not work for another. Extensions should be tailored to your hair density, face frame, lifestyle, and goals — not installed the exact same way on everyone.

The end result? A seamless, comfortable install that fits HER perfectly ✨

Today’s first client was one of my best friends and we gave her hair some much needed maintenance and refresh time 🤍

We did a two row sew-in move up, moved up her tape-ins, and left her k-tips alone since they’re still in great shape. We also toned her pre-existing blonde to brighten everything back up and give her that fresh, clean blonde again ✨

To finish, we did a relaxing shampoo, scalp scrub, and deep conditioning mask before styling her sleek and straight 😍

If extensions don’t blend seamlessly while the hair is straight, they are not installed correctly. A flawless blend shouldn’t rely on curls to hide anything. Clean sections, proper placement, and customized coloring make all the difference when it comes to natural looking extensions 🤌

Today we refreshed her blonde with a partial blonding touch up and focused on keeping everything bright, blended, and HEALTHY ✨

We elevated her partial by doing a tip out to brighten up her ends, added the tiniest root tap for the most seamless grow out, and custom toned her to perfection so she wasn’t too ashy and wasn’t too warm… just the perfect bright neutral blonde 👏🏼

To protect the integrity of her hair every step of the way, I used the full K18 system including the pre treatment, post treatment, and styling products to keep her blonde strong, soft, and healthy while lifting 💛

She also left with the perfect home care products to keep her hair healthy, bright, and shiny between appointments because maintaining your blonde at home is just as important as what we do in the salon ✨
