This past week has been hectic with opening Leighton's at the Lake Cigar lounge on the strip..... time just got away from me.

Tuesday Tip:
CLEAN YOUR MAKEUP BRUSHES!
Just like doing the big Spring clean for your lake home or condo,
You need to Spring clean your makeup brushes.
Toss out old and damaged brushes. Deep clean your favorites, check the hair and handles.
Replace as needed.
Want to shop for brushes but just don't know what to buy....

Spring ahead Sunday March 8th.....
Also a good time to check batteries on home devices, smoke detectors, etc.
If its nice out .. . Get garden hoses out, check them, turn on outside water make sure everything is in working order
Check lawn mower, make sure its tuned and ready, battery is good.
Check out all the garden battery operated tools.....weed whacker, trimmers, etc.
Get grills cleaned and ready.... do you have full propane tanks, etc
Clean gutters, start raking and look over your yards
Spring is coming!!!!!! Let's all be ready!

Ladies that would like to join the world of bourbon drinkers.
Here are a few Sipping Tips for Beginners:
Lower the Proof: Start with bourbons in the 80 to 90 proof range to avoid overwhelming the palate with alcohol heat.
Use ☄️Water or Ice: Adding a drop or two of water or a single large ice cube can "open up" the bourbon, softening the burn and highlighting hidden sweet notes.
Let it Breathe: Pouring the bourbon and letting it sit for a few minutes before tasting allows harsher vapors to evaporate, resulting in a smoother first sip
