ATTN: Pageant Ladies ... a life lesson was learned this past weekend at the Kentucky Derby! Keep this in mind the next time you compete in a pageant (hopefully in the American Queen Pageants!)

RICH STRIKE (the winning horse) had these things "going against him" ... very similar to what pageant gals can feel when they get to their state or national competition:

1. He didn't have the best starting position
(think in Pageantry - some want to be middle, first, or very last ...
we rarely get the "competing position" we want - deal with it!)

2. He wasn't the biggest or best horse (meaning he didn't have the best body or the "typical" competition body, height, weight, etc.)

3. He was rejected first because his owner didn't make the deadline (it's important to make your deadlines, but always inquire if it is after the deadline, often times there are "gray" areas!"

4. He only made it in as a last minute entry and only because another horse had to drop out at the last minute. (Again, always inquire! A contestant could have dropped out and the space needs to be filled, the director needs more contestants, etc. - again, it doesn't cost anything to inquire!).

5. This was a $30,000 horse against multi million dollar horse
(Think the cost of your wardrobe against another contestants! My first state competition I competed in a $99 sale rack gown from Casual Corner ... a lot of the other girls had paid more than that to rent a $5-6K gown ... I felt so inferior, but guess what?! I won! State then Nationals! It should NEVER be about the cost of your wardrobe or your household income!)

It isn’t about having the best of everything or being the "one to beat" or favored. It’s about the right attitude, a beautiful heart and spirit and believing in yourself!

WOO HOO and congrats Rich Strike!🤗🐴❤️🎉🏆 I

Ms./Mrs. Corporate America Competition announce new National Director.…

The Ms./Mrs. Corporate America Organization is excited to announce that Pam Bolter (of Palm Coast, Florida) has been selected as the new National Director, amongst the leadership of Anissa King (CEO/President), effective immediately. Pam brings a wealth of pageant experience, spanning many years: from Contestant (winning countless state crowns and 8 national titles), to Certified Judge, Board Member, as well as a local and state director for various pageant organizations. Her philosophy of “inspiring and empowering women of all ages, and all walks of life…” is the perfect fit for the Corporate America Organization. Ms. Bolter also states that she relishes, “… the positive aspects of pageantry and celebrating beauty and accomplishments during each chapter of a woman’s life!"

Advocating the importance of making a difference in today’s society and encouraging women to find their passion for helping others, Pam looks forward to continuing this mission and the partnership that Ms./Mrs. Corporate America Organization already has with Dress for Success.

In addition to Bolter’s national directorship, we are thrilled to announce that long-time pageant extraordinaire, Donna Brown (also of Florida) has signed on as Director’s Assistant/Social Media Manager. Donna is a pageant, modeling, etiquette & image consultant for "Life on and off the stage." She is an actively working model and former modeling instructor. Ms. Brown is the second woman in history of Florida Pageantry to be crowned with three major Mrs. State titles, as well as winning a 2015 national title. A 2015 Prestige Pageantry Award recipient, she is also a lifelong volunteer and advocate.

Bolter & Brown will be restructuring divisions and bringing more diversity to the system. This dynamic duo plan to increase corporate involvement - thus increasing visibility in corporate America, which will fuel growth of the prize package and opportunities for the local, state and national queens.
