Miss Aspen had a pretty good night, and this little warrior is already up bright and early this morning! 💕 Seeing her open those eyes and start her day is a blessing that I never take for granted.

Every good night, every peaceful moment, and every little smile feels like a huge victory in the journey she continues to fight so bravely. Thank you all for continuing to pray, support, and follow along with Aspen’s story. Your love means more than you’ll ever know. ❤️

Good morning from Miss Aspen 💜

When I left for work this morning, my sweet girl was sleeping peacefully and finally getting some much-needed rest. Seeing her comfortable always gives this mama a little bit of relief.

The good news is that the team has slowly started weaning down the bleed-in oxygen support and working toward getting her back to her home oxygen settings. Every small step forward is a victory for Aspen.

My biggest hope this week is that the doctors move forward with consulting ENT and digging deeper into why Aspen continues to battle recurrent pneumonia. We know there has to be a reason she keeps facing the same struggle, and I won’t stop advocating until we get answers.

Please continue praying for Miss Aspen—for healing, for wisdom for her medical team, and for answers that can help prevent these constant hospital stays. She has fought so hard, and she deserves every chance to thrive.

It’s always around 1:30 a.m. when Miss Aspen decides she’s ready to be wide awake. 💕 While Mommy would love a full night of sleep, I can’t really blame her. Between all the monitors, constant check-ins, medications, and being in the hospital, it’s hard for anyone to truly rest.

So here we are again, another late-night cuddle session while the rest of the world sleeps. Even on the toughest nights, I’m thankful for every moment with this sweet girl. Please continue to keep Aspen in your prayers as she fights through yet another hospital stay. ❤️🙏

Update on Miss Aspen ❤️

After speaking with both Cardiology and Pulmonology today, we have made the decision to hold off on closing the hole in Aspen’s heart for now and instead focus on her lungs.

While I respect the plan, I also feel there may be something more going on that isn’t being seen on a standard chest X-ray. Because of Aspen’s ongoing battle with recurrent pneumonia, I have requested additional testing, including a swallow study and further evaluations to help determine why she continues to develop these infections so frequently.

As many of you know, Aspen is a very medically complex little girl with multiple health challenges. But she deserves every opportunity to get answers, receive the best care possible, and improve her quality of life. I will continue advocating for her every step of the way until we get the answers she needs.

Despite everything she faces, Aspen continues to fight every single day. Her strength amazes me, and I couldn’t be more proud of her.

We also received results from a urine culture taken a few days ago, which appears to show the same UTI she previously had. The team has collected another urine culture for confirmation and has already started antibiotics while we wait for those results.

Please continue to keep Miss Aspen in your prayers. We know God has carried her through so much already, and we trust Him to continue guiding her journey. Thank you all for the love, support, prayers, and encouragement you continue to show our sweet girl. ❤️🙏

I think Miss Aspen has officially outgrown her therapy chair! 💕

Momma tried putting her in it today, and let’s just say… it didn’t go as planned. Our sweet girl is growing so fast, and while it’s amazing to see her getting bigger and stronger, it also means she’s quickly outgrowing the equipment she depends on every day.

Watching her grow is such a blessing, but it also brings new challenges and needs. Please continue to keep Aspen in your prayers as we navigate each step of her journey.

Miss Aspen decided she wanted to start her day super early this morning, but thankfully she drifted back off to sleep and is now resting so peacefully. Watching her sleep like this is one of the few moments where I can relax a little and just admire how strong she truly is.

Since we arrived on the 10th, she does seem a little more comfortable than she was before, and honestly, I’m not sure why. As a mom, I pay attention to every little thing, and any sign of comfort is something I hold onto tightly.

She still has these moments where she’ll suddenly start crying in her sleep, and it scares me every single time. I immediately jump up, rub her back, pat her gently, and tell her that it’s okay. Most of the time, she settles back down, but those moments are heartbreaking because I can’t help but wonder what she’s feeling or if she’s hurting.

Please continue to keep Aspen in your prayers. This sweet little girl has been through so much in her short life, yet she continues to fight every single day. We are so grateful for everyone who continues to follow her journey, pray for her, share her story, and support our family. Every prayer matters. ❤️

She’s up way too early this morning. Mommy has to be at work in just a few hours, but this sweet girl has decided she wants all the attention.
