Wondering how we came up with the name CARRUTs? As we contemplated a name for our business, we took into consideration aspects that were common to both of us.

Carruts is a small business that began simply due to a mother and daughter's love of creating fun and unique accessories using vintage items, other found treasures, and delightful castaways. Since we both have red hair and we both love the Anne of Green Gables movies, Carruts seemed like a fun name. Why the different spelling? We decided to make it an
acronym: Cassie And Robyn's Randon Unique Treasures ~ Thus, our name CARRUTs!
