As most of you know, hair salons and barbershops in the Philadelphia area are allowed to open on Friday June 26 ! Hair We Are Hair Salon will finally be opening ! We ask that you call us at 215 676 2260 to make your appointment.
The CDC has set temporary guide lines for us and we ask for your help and patience as we get settled into the new normal. Everyone’s health and safety are is our main concern. The guidelines are listed below :
All clients and stylists are required to wear a mask or face shield and they must be worn through the entire appointment.
We will be checking that all clients are symptom free and that they have not been exposed to someone that is sick, in the past 14 days.
Our waiting area is closed, to limit crowding. So please come to your appointment alone.
Please let us know that you have arrived, and then kindly wait outside until your stylist is ready for you.
Hand sanitizer will be provided for stylist and clients. We ask that you please sanitizer your hands before being seated.
Some stylist will be changing their hours so that everyone can work so please bear with us !
Thank You for understanding as this will be quite an adjustment for all of us.

I have to apologize for my last post, I thought I heard that hair salons in Pennsylvania could open on June 22, unfortunately I misunderstood !

Hi, We hope as you read this message you are doing well and staying healthy ! We just wanted to reach out and let you know that we still have no idea when the salon will be able to reopen. All of the necessary precautions that the state has recommended have been done. The salon is being cleaned again this weekend and we hope to see all of you soon ! And as soon as we know the date that we will be able open, we will be in touch. Thank you and have a HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY

Hi,
As most of you have heard, the state has mandated that all hair salons in Pennsylvania closed their doors, until further notice. This is truly DEVISTATI NG to all of us in the hair industry. We have been contacted by several, asking if we would be doing house calls. Unfortunately, at this time we can not. The law clearly states that we are not permitted to go to a client’s home and they are not to come to our home. The goal of this order, is to slow the progression of COVID-19. If we do not follow as directed, we could be charged with a class II misdemeanor, fined and/or our license could be revoked. Trust me, we would rather work than be forced to shut down. Also, we are unable to give you to go/ color at home kits, these are professional chemicals, it is not permitted by our color manufacturers and our insurance company. They are for professional use only, to be used by a licensed professional.
This is probably the hardest time that the beauty industry has faced. Unlike restaurants, we are unable to have curbside service as an option, meaning no income for us. We appreciate all the words of encouragement that we have received and by the end of this, we will all look like a HOT MESS together. If you all could be patient, we assure you, we will get you in as soon as we possibly can.
We ask that you keep us in your prayers, because we could really use them at this time. Please try to stay safe and healthy ! Thank you for understanding.

Hair We Are Hair Salon would like to welcome the staff and clients of STUDIO 4. After 15+ years in the Mayfair area, the girls from STUDIO 4 decided to close their doors and join us at HAIR WE ARE ! It is with great pleasure that we welcome MARIA, JOANIE, WALLY, AMANDA and all of their clients. The girls will begin working with us on Wednesday February 26. feel free to stop by and welcome them.
