Hello Darlings! Many of you know that Mandy had planned her last day for 5/5. Unfortunately, a family situation is shortening that time frame and Janine and Su-Shan will be taking over the rest of her schedule. Mandy works faster than either of us, so we will have to do some rescheduling to make everything work. Thank you in advance for bearing with us and understanding.

Hello Darlings! We’re having a rough case of the Mondays. The power is out at the new location in Bala Cynwyd and we’re not yet sure when it will be back on. It is Women’s History Month and for the 5th year in a row we are teaming up with other powerful businesses, as “The Manayunk Wingwomen” to help support other women in our community! We are collecting essential items for prenatal/postnatal parents and menstrual health and wellness all month long! These items are often expensive and not affordable for many people despite being a necessity, and we’re asking our beloved and supportive customers and clients to help us collect these super important products for this super important initiative. We will be sending the supplies collected to Grab N’ Flow, which stocks free-to-the-community menstrual and postpartum product sheds that are located in Philly and available to anyone in need. And something VERY exciting this year is Grab N’ Flow will be adding a NEW shed that will be located at North Light Community Center right here in Manayunk!!! This year we are also collecting monetary donations for Women Against Abuse, Philadelphia’s leading domestic violence advocate and service provider, and one of the largest domestic violence agencies in the country. Please Venmo -Deieso with your donation.

Hello Darlings! With Su-Shan being the child of a deported immigrant, we are of course in support of the Black Out. Due to the nature of our clients booking ahead including a wedding today, we will still be providing services. If you need a place to be in warmth & solidarity, please consider visiting the comic shop with no expectation of sales. Hello Darlings! We have moved the salon to a suite in Bala Cynwyd in the hopes of bringing 4327 Main St. more something community oriented. Johnny Destructo’s Hero Complex is soon to host a better kids and gaming space. Su-Shan needs to scale back from styling and will be helping in the comic shop some weekday evenings and weekends.
