I loved the Britpop music scene and before that the Mod scene from the 1960’s which definitely influenced the Britpop scene. This hairstyle is my interpretation.

Layered, textured bob hairstyle. Mostly using a razor. Very challenging trying to create texture on thick, straight Asian hair. I also used a texturizing scissor aka “thinning shears” to finish and styled using a pomade.

Transition from Fall/Winter to Spring/Summer color. From cool red to a warm, bright copper. Hopefully the warmer weather will follow!!!

“I just want a little trim” Ok! Actually my good client whose hair I’ve been cutting since he was five years old, was ready for a makeover. He lives in Colorado now and only sees me once a year. I took him from mountain man to modern man!

It’s always fun getting to create a style for a musician. I’m a big music person so naturally get inspired creating a look for an artist. We were inspired by the Brit pop bands of the’90’s.

Spring is time for a makeover! This was a nice change from a one length haircut. Prior to the haircut I freshened up her highlights. 💇‍♀️

Creating texture and movement on stick straight hair is always a challenge. Lots of highlights definitely help create the dimension and texture. This is definitely a wash and wear hairstyle, no brush needed. Sprayed some texturing sea mist and off she went! Swipe through to see all the gorgeous angles of my cut and color 👉🏻
