Carter’s Journey to Kick Cancer’s butt

We just left the Hospital and have GREAT news!!!! Everything looks good!!!! He is now done taking a majority of his medications and we don’t go back until January!!! Thank you everyone for all of the prayers and good vibes!!! And Carter wore his “lucky shirt” so I’m sure that helped too!!!!

Tomorrow is a big day for Cart, it’s follow up scans and appointments at the hospital. Please send all the prayers that my guy is still doing great and everything is looking good!!! I will update after his appointment but it will probably be later in the day because we have scans then appointment with Doctor Berry then a follow up PT to see how the braces are doing.

We just left our last PT appointment at the hospital for a few months!!! We picked Carter’s night time braces up so now we have a break for a few weeks until we have another appointment down at the hospital, and that makes Cart a happy guy!!!! He tells me the longer breakers we have means he is getting better and better!!!
We go back down to see the Oncologist on Oct 22 and have some scans and x-rays done so send prayers please that we are still doing great!!!! Carter says he knows he will be good because that’s a lucky day because it’s his nephew Jameson’s birthday so he knows it’s going to go great!!!!

So Carty got his day time leg braces today. Fingers crossed these will strengthen tha damaged muscles!!! And Carty absolutely loves that he got to customize these braces and said the design makes him happy!!!! The 30th we go back to pick up the night time pair.

Cart just wants to show off a little…. My boy got his first hair cut since treatment ended!!!! Well basically trim, he got cleaned up but I couldn’t let go of all of that new hair just yet!!!

So a little update on my Carty…. Well the casts are off and have been for a week in a half. Two days in and he developed deep huge blisters on both feet and ankles and had to be removed. So for now we are waiting to hear if his braces are done for tomorrow’s appointment or if we have to wait until next week for that.
Now for some better news… cart has an appointment today after school with Connecting Champions because they found him a mentor that is an animator!!!! We are so excited and grateful that Cart gets to have this experience!!!!

Casting week 4 and we have some Cosmo and Wanda coming for everyone!!!!

First Day of 11th Grade for my boy!!!! He is so excited to go back, me on the other hand…. I’m super nervous and praying it all goes great!!!!

This week is BLUEY AND BINGO!!!!
